Terrorvision is a collaborative effort to bring more knowledge and attention to truly underrated, less talked-about films of a particular stripe we feel don’t get made anymore. They aren’t so much so-bad-they’re-good films as much as good films with an affinity for schlock of yore with snappy pacing and occasional status-quo undermining social commentary. Join these carefree, somewhat well-versed twentysomethings as they delve deep into a chapter of film history overlooked…

The twenty-somethings featured:
Favorite movie: Akira Kurosawa’s Ran
The top-rated Alex on Terrorvision (according to Zagat’s Guide) lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he is currently employed as a wedding DJ, bicycle cabbie, freelance journalist, and part-time Lagoon Theater popcorn scooper (having donned Toby’s old job like a cast-off, scabrous skin). His life is about exactly as much fun as it sounds like it is.
Least favorite movie: The Jackal (1997)
Favorite Movie: Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Alex was born, raised, and currently lives in Fargo, North Dakota. He has seen every episode of Degrassi the Next Generation, and is legitimately upset that Radio Free Roscoe isn’t on DVD. He’s also colorblind.
Least Favorite Movie: Garbage Pail Kids
Favorite Movie: The Apartment
Toby Jones is a 24-year-old cartoonist and filmmaker with an odd-shaped nose. As a child, Toby spent hours at a video store in Fargo, North Dakota looking at the VHS covers of many of the films featured in this podcast. For some reason, he usually just re-rented Return to Horror High instead. He currently resides in Los Angeles and works as a storyboard artist on Cartoon Network’s Regular Show.

Least Favorite Movie: Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Favorite Movie: Barton Fink
It may help to think of Brad Pearson as an evil alternate universe version of Toby Jones, then again, maybe it won’t help. Brad has a deep love for goopy latex special effects that used to terrify him as a child. He is currently living the dream in New York City where he is a freelance writer and a production assistant in the film and television industry.
Least Favorite Movie: 300
Favorite Movie: Kicking and Screaming
Madeline Queripel is very small and young-looking which are the only important things one would need to know to properly judge her worth as a person. If you simply must know more, she grew up in Boulder, CO and attended college in Minneapolis. She now lives in Los Angeles with Toby Jones (not the “Capote” one, unfortunately).
Least Favorite Movie: Nothing But Trouble
